The Kapiti Air Academy in conjunction with Whitireia Community Polytechnic offers four exciting full time professional aviation courses to choose from:

Certificate in Aviation (Aeroplane)

Certificate in Aviation (Helicopter)

Certificate in Aviation (Instructor Rating)

Certificate in Aviation (Multi Engine Instrument Rating)

Information for International Students.    International students who wish to attend Kapiti Air Academy courses are advised to acquaint themselves with the range of additional information on their application, code of practice, immigration and insurance requirements. Location
The practical flying instruction is conducted from the Kapiti Aero Club facilities located at the Paraparaumu airport on the Kapiti Coast (50km) north of Wellington.  The theory classes are conducted at the Whitireia Lindale campus at Paraparaumu.

Quality of Instruction The Kapiti Air Academy meets the requirements of the New Zealand Ministry of Education with New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) Accreditation.

All exercises and material delivered are in a accordance with New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority Rules and Advisory Circulars.
